Ugh. :(

My 23yr old nephew had to put his cat down today. I feel so bad for him; she was his baby. Sadly, she had some health problems to the point where putting her to rest was the most humane thing he could do for her. He really did try to help her though, as she was at the vet last night and then again today.
I’m doing okay. She mostly stayed in his room. But I’d see her in the hall when I’d go upstairs and usually greet her, so I’ll miss doing that. She was so little and cute. We think she may have been the runt of her litter, so for her to live to almost 10 years as the runt is incredible. Runts can have a lot of health problems. If you remember our kitten Feyre from two years ago, she was a true runt, and she wound up only surviving a few months.
Anyway, we’re keeping him distracted right now (per his request). He needs a mental and physical break from it all. It’s tough when our pets cross the Rainbow Bridge. :(
I’m not sure what else to say. It sucks, of course, but we’re doing what we can to be there for him.
(Also, I'm too lazy to find and attach a picture.)

It is always sad losing a pet, I sit here and watch my kittens Ringo and Michelle and think to myself they are so small and just a couple of months old but in ten years they will be 70 in cat years and I cannot even imagine that, I wish pets could grow with up not so fast top get so old,
