Well not a discussion fully on debates, whatever be the kind of ! What happened was that a big YouTuber In India speak n one of his video. He used some words in a bad taste. He even said a few things without much respect for others . A bit senselessness here ! Plus he criticized certain line of thinking too much. All in all, a ripe time for others to watch and make controversial videos(some reaction videos) on this topic. Then to and fro arguments - some even very angry and in bad taste followed. Finally the dust has settled a bit but overall it was something avoidable...Well that's life !!

We have plenty of that type of politician here. I don't like them at all.

@snowy22315 The interesting part was instead of politicians, Youtubers were involved. One of them has 22 Million plus followers and should have been more careful.

It got some attention. Goal realized, I suppose.

@TheHorse I feel that the YouTuber did not do things intentionally but somehow a sense of strength and proud overcame him and he went overboard. Then the controversy followed!

@TheHorse In some ways, many of the YouTubers are big attention seekers.

Some people aren't able to accept differing points of view. We all need to be respectful even if we don't agree with someone.

@JudyEv At times, perhaps we all find it difficult to accept criticism but more popular folks need to be more receptive to facing criticism.

@JudyEv The combination of fame, money, fanfare and a sense of power can be toxic and often a breeding ground for arrogance !

Well that's not life. None of us have the right to abuse anybody verbally and create a you tube of it. When people post on my Facebook wall such obnoxious videos I do give negative comments. I virtually write "Don't load such videos ".

@aninditasen There is a lot of negativity and toxicity on Social Media. A lot of it can negatively impact and influence young folks but it still persists !

Oh! Some juicy controversial news there..I have missed this one. I was not much into cyberspace these days. Well, these social media platforms are expressions without any censorship and there are pros and cons to this mode.

@arunima25 I did not share the Youtuber name as that could have generated a lot of hot debate here. But he is very famous.

I hope they have all settled down now. People have a habit of going off the deep end when anything happens before finding out the full story.

@CarolDM And then things go out of control and take another unintended direction.

Its big money if people agree but most here are controversial and these nuts at the top just say what many want to here. If they try same thing will not work for them but again many not in that part they want to be later after their people eliminated there so called enemies. My point is what happens when everyone is eliminated. They will just find new targets because again its how they make their money and power. That is the one thing most people do not realize, feel the way you do but once I am gone you could be next.

@crossbones27 People who are on social media at times Lise sense. Or some become arrogant and proud. Some preach others to be accomodating and fair but cannot take fair criticism themselves. A big Dilemma or Irony !! Thanks for sharing your views.

I don't have enough time left to spend it arguing/fighting with anyone which is why I remember my parents teaching me 'never discuss religion and/or politics'--nobody wins!

@GreatMartin Even I am not fond of big arguments. They lead us nowhere!

It’s awful when debates get nasty like that. Here in the USA, we’ve been through several.

I think it should be reported. It's against the YouTube community guidelines to use foul language and inciting heated arguments.

@Nakitakona Sometimes some talk and arguments fall outside the purview of violation. May be we can say in the Grey area. So it is not banned but it doesn't reduce the outrage that one feels on one's content.
