Currently, watching horror movie

Time right now is 8:47pm of 28th of May. The whole family is currently watching a horror movie on TV. A group 5 teenagers go to a jungle with mysterious creatures.
At first my wife don't want to watch the movie. Me and my son's validating the actions of the teenagers. For example, they're inside the tunnel using flashlight while holding each other. Until the one holding a flashlight had a battery died. Blackout comes next. Then he mentioned he will just replace the battery. While replacing he continuously walking. The girl on his back stayed in one place. Then the girl see something mystical woman. Then the man at back is using a lighter to lighten up instead of a flashlight. Funny side is why use a lighter walking inside the tunnel.
Fast forward...
One is missing. No idea if she's alive or not.
Then followed by next. The guy who's holding a lighter, been killed by a mysterious person while he's beside the river.
Then, another girl drowned in the river.
The protagonists of the film are the one left alive.

The movie is not yet finished. As of the moment, the boy been caught my rebels in the area because he's injured and girl continuously running. The rebel head said to the boy, "you put the girl (his partner) with the demons!)

I do not watch scary movies. They give me nightmares and I wake up screaming. The last time I watched a scary movie was when I was still married to my first wife. (Pretty was around 5 years old. Pretty is 34 years old now.)
