Ferguson is old. / myLot

Yesterday, as I entered Claudia´s house, I saw a sort of old dirty mop on one of Claudia´s sofas. But no. It was Ferguson, Claudia´s oldest cat by far, asleep. That cat was a beauty when he was young. He is almost totally white (dirty white now) and stood like a prince everywhere. I am not an addict as taking pictures goes but I took several pictures of him then. Now he doesn´t even have ears. The vet had to cut them as he had cancer. And he is mostly indoors as the younger cats harass him.

Yes, he is old. And yes, he is not a beauty anymore. But of all the cats Claudia has (5 including Carolina´s) he is the one that comes to me to be warmer and I let him sleep in my lap. Claudia says that he has had a happy and long life. But I will miss him when he goes to the Swet Cat´s Paradise

Glad that Ferguson had a long and happy life. He sounds like a friendly and warm cat.

He is. I am not much of a cat lover (I find that dogs are easier to love) but Ferguson is something else.

@marguicha It's same with me. In fact I am very scared of cats and would not go close to them. I always had dogs for pet and I love them.

The rest of Claudia´s cats go in and out. But Ferguson is staying mainly in, at least since it is colder.

Poor Fergusson, I am sure he is a lovely sweet old cat. I am sure he will be missed.

It was las year when I suddenly discovered that he was very old. After the vet cut is ears he somehow turned old in a second. I understand as I aged 10 years after my lymphoma

@marguicha - Poor cat, they are like humans, those terrible diseases are very hard on our body. I remember that my Mom suddenly aged when the doctors had to remove her stomach because of cancer.
