A strawberry smoothie as dessert.

I was checking the deep freezer to see if I had any meat for my birthday party guests when I found some frozen strawberries. I had frozen those strawberries in the summer in batches to make smoothies with them. I did not even have to thaw them. They would serve as "ice" while I blended them. The smoothie is delicious but maybe I should have made a hot chocolate for dessert. It is very cold. And my hot chocolates are better than Claudia´s as they are bitter.

I may attempt a smoothie later this afternoon. My ice all evaporated, so I started more. I have no bananas, but I have yogurt, milk, cantaloupe, honeydew, ice cream, and a blender (missing its top) that works.

You can put one of your hands on top of the blender and not fill it too much.

@TheHorse I make my hot chocolate with bitter cocoa, a piece of cinnamom, a clove, and some orange peel.

I also freeze the strawberries when I have many in the garden. I use them as "ice" when I make a strawberry Margarita.

@wolfgirl569 I buy a sort of milk that can be kept for months in the pantry (not even in the fridge except when you open the box)
