Lady disappeared again

Now she is back, mostly.
The day they brought the big mower over to mow the field for camping, Lady took a hike. We have not seen her for days. 5 days.
My cats did not like the strange people, dogs, and campers and motorcycles.
As soon as the last camper left, and they took away the dumpster, and the porta potties. Lady came to the door.
Lady used to have a two inch hook on the end of her tail from an injury when she was a tiny kitten.
When she came back today it is gone. The wound that would be there is healed up as well.
We do not think she got it caught in something. We think rather some predator grabbed her by the tip of her tail and it broke off. You know, an owl, a hawk, a fox, or coyote or dog.
She does not seem to be in pain. Her fluffy hair is so long you do not even notice it missing.
She does want to be in whichever room I am in, though.
I have missed her cuddling at night.
So this is a happy post for me.
My cats sure do not want their routines interrupted.

Labor Day is big here as well and they use that field for it as well.

@JudyEv The first weekend of September. The parade starts in that same empty field. That is where they do their staging.

I am glad to hear she is back and all right. My kittens Ringo and Michelle are growing and like to have wrestling matches on my bed because there is plenty of room and they do not realize Grandmama cannot sleep but I love them to pieces,

I am so glad Lady is back. I would be frantic if one of my dogs was missing...but we no longer have any pets. (sniff, sniff)

Yes. And peace and quiet. The birds all tattle when the cats are in the yard and that is all the noise that is usual around here.

@GardenGerty I am glad. Some months ago my cat came back home bleeding, he did not seem in pain. He had part of his face swollen for a few days. I never knew what happened.

A few years ago my cat, Lily, went missing for three days and she finally came home. We think she got in someone's shed. A day ago one of my uncle's cat went outside when my mother was coming in. She got him in thank goodness.

I had one disappear and we decided she had been in a shed, when we lived in the other town. Tinker got trapped in my shed last year. Lady got trapped in a car hubby had been working on last month.
