Today June 1 is observed as the world parents day.
It's an opprtune time to greet and honor our living parents and those who already passed away.
Their sacrifices to let their offsprings live in the nurture and admonition of the Lord couldn't be repaid by money or material things but the love and care of their parents.
I have already lost my parents but yet they're still in my heart, in my mind. I won't forget them for they support and sustain me to live up to their noble expectations with love and fear of God.
Nanay and tatay (mother and father), thank you very much. I love both of you.
How do you honor your parents in this special day for them?

I have only dad now my mum passed away last year. I just thank them for their upbringing and wishing them

I don´t think that we observe parents day here. We have mother´s day and father´s day.

June 1 has also been proclaimed as "Global Day of Parents" by the United Nations as a mark of appreciation for the commitment of parents towards their children. In the Philippines, while it is not strictly observed or celebrated, the first Monday of December each year is proclaimed as Parents' Day. - Wikipedia
