Longing For the Beach / myLot

Well, this is the first year in about five years that I have not been to the beach. I know that we are only half way through the year, but I am really needing some beach therapy. I don't see it happening this year. Gas prices are so high. Food and lodging are skyrocketing in price. Oh well, I will be thankful for the memories of beach time in the past. I am thankful I get to see my grandkids. I am thankful for my husband and children. I will keep and attitude of gratitude and pray the hard times so many face will be over soon. What is your ideal getaway?

The beach is only an hour away so we will go a couple of times this summer.

I hear that. We were supposed to have a train to take us to San Bernardino from there we could catch an am-track to the beach. Except these fools have sidelined the project or something, was supposed to open 6 months ago. No beach for me either. I refuse to play this greed game and will sit at home until they make things affordable again.. I guess I will be a home body because thats never going to happen. Only two ways to go from here economic collapse or they rig the system to where greed works but most all of us will still be barely getting by like always.
