I used to have a few tomato plants every year but not this year.
It is getting too hard to garden for me.
I miss those days when I was gardening to my heart's content, but they are gone now.
Our 2 sons have some tomato plants so they will bring us some and we will enjoy theirs.

We always plant two tomato plants in our flowerbed. I love eating them straight off the vine. This year one of the plants is always wilted when we go out in the morning. We water it and it perks back up but it shouldn't be wilting overnight like that. I don't know why it's doing it.

@marlina I told Pretty that we're pulling all the mint out of the flowerbed. It keeps trying to take over the whole bed.

I usually try to plant a few but the last few years they have been devoured. I will only plant one this year if I can find one for free somewhere. Well, I might change my mind. I will have to remember to dose it daily with a detergent, water mixture though to keep predators away.

I've not been terribly successful with tomatoes - but I LOVE home grown fresh tomatoes, so I'm going to keep trying.
I tried growing them from seeds - well, that was a fiasco
My husband purchased a few potted plants late in the season that had some fruit on them.
So I thought, this year, I'm going to try just three mature plants, in the pots (that come with their own supports) no weeding or minimal because they are in pots - and I'm going to stick to smaller fruit so I have better chance of harvesting something
All I needed was a source of plants - and I found a neighbour up the road who has a literal forest of seedlings!
Really nicely maturing, and even starting to flower!
He's from 'the old country' and gave me some tips to encourage good growth.
I'm excited and really looking forward to success this year!

I've not planted tomatoes for about five years now. I wasn't having good luck with the outcome so I gave up for now. Maybe once I retire I'll try again and plant other things too.

We can't garden anymore either. Our housekeeper (my husband's 2nd cousin) made a big garden; and she's going to bring us some veggies.

One of my plants has 17 tiny tomatoes. I am so excited, can't wait for them to get ripe, but I guess I have to. I love tomatoes. Gardening is very hard for me, too. I had someone make a tiny garden by my patio and it took me forever to get it planted and started, but so far I am managing it. I used to always have a big garden and I miss it.

I look forward to fresh tomatoes every summer. Nothing like homegrown tomatoes!

We still do a garden but tomato plants go in a large pot as we only do a couple each year most of the time

I always have bumper produce of tomatoes in my garden. Today I put some tomatoes seeds in the seed tray. Let's wait and hope that they do well. Other two plants are fully grown and have some tomatoes ready to be harvested. They have already given enough tomatoes. These tomatoes might be the last ones.
