A small, stray kitty has welcomed itself to my house.
Gray tiger striped half grown bob tailed kitten came in my open door that I had propped for my cats to go out.
It acts half tame. Crying but will not come to me. I will post and ad on a local group.It may be someone's lost pet.
I really do not need a new pet.

Posted it locally. Not sure there is an owner. Looks to be just weaning age more or less.

@CarolDM It keeps looking at Angel and saying the equivalent of "mamma". Angel says "no".

It could be. I am ambivalent about another pet. Now isn't the right time I don't think. Nico is such a wild and also fearful child, not sure how he would deal with a newbie. He does like to terrorize the dog on ocassion.

@GardenGerty Kittens are crazy, but if one showed up here and no one owned it. I would feel compelled tokeep it as long as it seemed healthy. I might get it checked out by a vet before I introduced it to my other cat.

Not us. Recently our 2nd elder daughter brought us 2 kittens for us to adopt Their fur is orange They're rescued by my daughter along the roadside of the highway.

I hope you can find out who it belongs to.
We found a kitty once on my Grandma Brown's hedge. We took it in but then we found out it belonged to the lady over the road. We went to give it back but she said we could keep it. We called her Suki and she was my cat but she lived out her days at my Grandma Brown's house.

I think you should drop the cat at a nearby animal shelter. I would have done so. It will be taken care of there.

The snakes, hawks and owls keep down the mice and rats. I likely will keep this kitty.
