Plans for supper and my day

I'm planning on making meatloaf for supper tonight. I took two pounds of hamburger out of the freezer yesterday and thought it was all thawed so I put it into the fridge overnight. I just put it into a bowl with two eggs and diced onions and when I went to stir it up discovered that one pound was still slightly frozen. So I'm hoping it thaws more before I have to leave for work after four pm today Rather than scheduling any window jobs I decided to go do a bid. I try to bid jobs within two weeks and this one has been waiting close to a month. The reason I waited is because I wanted to take my husband to see it as they wanted powerwashing of some brick and a fence and then their siding washed also. My husband and I don't work the same shifts and we didn't make it happen until today. But when we got there I found out she got somebody else that's done other work for them before. That's okay. We have plenty of work waiting for us. Tomorrow and Friday I have off from cashiering, so we'll work until mid afternoon both days. Although I'll also be doing a job alone tomorrow around three. No employee is available to help me but overall it's not too hard of a job. Then on the weekend I'll be back cashiering again. When the weather is nice and my employees are available I often work seven days a week. (Meatloaf is done so I added a pic. It looks funny without any topping.

@RebeccasFarm not is it's hot there already. It's only in the sixties here today so it's a good time to make it.

I'm sure it will be fine. I checked online to find out how long to cook it.

I worked seven days a week, while I was doing surveys. I never took a day off, even Christmas Day I worked.

I don't work Christmas day, thankfully. In the colder months I don't wash many windows so I get a break then at least.

It was decent but not the best I've ever made.

I did wonder what the photo was of. My guess was a cake before it was baked.

I get my sleep at night and sometimes I have time for a nap in the daytime too.

@MarshaMusselman I do the same. Earlier I had a regular power nap for 20_45 minutes in the afternoon. Now I have it only when I feel that I need it.

I'll be having mine tomorrow. I cooked it mainly for my husband as he doesn't like a lot of leftovers in a row.

Yikes, working 7 days a week sure sounds awful to me, I never liked not being able to stay home with the kritters.

I don't have any critters to stay home with and when we did have a did I want working quite as much.

@MarshaMusselman breadcrumbs, egg and a bit of milk keep it together, the same ingredients you use to make meatballs.

@LadyDuck I don't know that I've ever made meatballs before. In for sure not in the last tent years. Maybe I made them when I was much younger.
