Good day to you all, Missed a few days here as I was fighting a migraine. Nothing new really and thankfully it has gone away now so I can get back to life LOL The gas prices are still or back to $4.98. I filled the car this morning and that cost me $57.00 so I was not happy about that. Guess I won’t be doing any long trip for vacation this summer, better I stick closer to home to save the money in gas. I have updated the resume and will be looking for something closer to home. Not having any luck finding a new place closer to work so maybe I will have luck finding work closer to home. With these gas prices I have to find something closer so it’s not costing me $200 and something a month to get to work and back. Hope you all have a good evening.

Good to see you. Those migraines are not good. Gas prices have made many rethink their plans unfortunately.

I hope you can figure something out, because prices may not get back to where they used to be. I was surprised when my husband told me about the prices at the pump the other day.

@Bensen32 I know. My husband is always telling me how our favorite bacon, we used to get at Aldi, was about double what we used to pay for it. I hear people saying or hoping that things would balance themselves out, but I honestly don't see that happening anytime soon. In the meantime we are the ones suffering for it.

@kaylachan Good thing many places are paying $15 an hour now cause I am sure that has nothing to do the with the prices of everything going up and up.

Glad to see that you're back. Gas prices here are insane here too, much like in a lot of other places.

Yeah, good thing Biden closed down the pipeline and restricted oil pumping. that really helped us all out.

I wish you much luck in finding something either way. You know this is why I always told me son to get a job close to home just in case you would have no car.

I’m so sorry you have migraines. I have cluster headaches, which are minimal cousins to the migraine, but I now how badly THEY hurt. I’m glad I get good gas mileage from my car. I see people driving around with temporary tags on gas guzzlers that they bought a couple of months ago. I’ll bet they’re kicking themselves for doing that now!

Oh I have a friend that gets cluster headaches and that doesn't sound like any fun either. yes, I do at least get about 30-34 mpg so not to bad but I just drive way to far everyday. Yeah, that would suck to have one of those cars.

It is wise to find a job closer to your home, not only because of gas prices, but also because of car repairs. Our second car decided today not to start. We don't think it's the battery. It is always something
