I love the colors of spring

I love the late spring when the wildflowers present themselves when we least expect it. On Thursday, I drove out to the Joint Base in Tacoma to take Cooper in for a veterinary appointment. I have not been on that base in several years. I turned down one of the roads and there were fields of beautiful orange colors, with a smattering of yellow and lavender purple colors. It was safe for me to stop on this road and I took several photographs. The colors just made me so happy. I especially like this photograph, giving a surprise when I was looking at them last night. If you look very carefully, you will see a big bumblebee at one of the poppies. it, too, made me smile. Photo is my own.

Those orange poppies are beautiful, we have fields of red poppies right now, I love them. I can see the bumble bee, they are nice little animals that I respect. I took a picture of a bumble bee on my sage flowers. It's a bit out of focus, but I took the photo from my window, not the best.

One of the things that you can do to experience it on some level, is to do a search of springtime flowers. You will be able to see photographs from around the world. I know it's not the same, but at least it gives you some sense. I love seeing photographs of your country, because there's so much beauty in the whole world with all of the different terrain and climate and Flora and fauna.

Ohhh, I think I see the bumblebee in the center ! Pretty spring colors to enjoy! Nature is the best designer. I think our field colors are at their tail end as it's gotten hot (well, been too warm for a long time).
