I left the door open for Tinker, and the Itty Bitty Kitty went outside as well. Up until now she has not really wanted people attention. She just wants to hang out with the big cats.
I was not fast enough to catch her, so I sat on the porch. Lady cat came to talk, and I gave her a couple of kitty treats. Bitty crept closer. I offered her treats. . . and then I GRABBED her.
When I took her inside I gave her another treat or two. Next thing you know, she is laying in my lap, purring. Suddenly she appreciated being petted by a human.
My guess is she is about 8 weeks old. Mom always said that when a litter was old enough to wean the mamma would lead them away so she could have another litter. I assume that is true. Bitty sure keeps looking for a mamma.
Bob could also entice her to his lap, with a treat or two.
We will have her tamed yet.

We keep treats by the door to reward all the cats when they come in. Tinker will go in, get a treat, go back out shortly, then come back in for another treat, over and over.

@CarolDM My sister over feeds her kitty with treats, but he is not allowed out and does not get the exercise mine do.

No one has claimed her, and she certainly seems uncared for and though not ill, just not in great condition. We will fix that.

Having pets is one of Bob's comforts and joys. In fact, the fact that I had pets is one reason he wanted to date me.

@RebeccasFarm He is very social. When we met I had both animals and kids at my house and a sister and a college student.

I suspected that was what would come of this when she walked in the front door right after Angel when it was raining.

Yes, she is and she does like attention. She even tolerates the flea comb really well.

@RubyHawk She is too young for flea poisons, but she appreciated me cleaning her up. Her skin is much nicer now.

Feeding and taking care of a cat especially kitten is good enough to tame her.

She is so funny to watch. Her little stubby tail just wags and is expressive.

None that I know of. I learned that ants like t hem too, so now they are kept in a glass jar with a tight lid. Bitty had learned to turn the plastic box over to try to get more.

@BarBaraPrz When they are fresh. I try not to over give them. I do not need fat cats.

Once she gets in a lap she is a very cuddly kitty. Still reluctant sometimes, but learning. She laid on a side table and just watched Bob for a while.

Glad she decided she likes you. I have had cats raise them as a family. They would smack the older ones away from nursing. But still willing to cuddle and clean them.

Well evidently this mama did not want to keep Bitty. Or something. She would have made a tasty snack for an owl.
