Yvonne thought we were just going out on the bike for a run But my plan was to get to Alyth as part of the bike run and buy dinner at the best ChipcShop in Scotland So I did just that. Deep fry Steak Pie and Chips Cooked in lard, yum yum Still the best chip shop

I had a friend who actually did a taste/cooking test - lard vs vegetable oil (for donuts). He said lard definitely gives it that delicious fried taste. What makes the best chip shop better than other chips?

Other Chip shops don't use Lard. They all use Vegetable Oil, and even yucky Palm Oil.

We use Lard to cook in here at home Carol. Or beef dripping. So much better tasting food compared to say stuff cooked in healthy oils lol
