Scary turtle

Yesterday I got a little scare for a friend in the back yard. There I was walking the push mower to the back yard and out of the corner of my eye I saw a little head. For a few seconds I thought that head was a snake. I said a curse word loudly and jumped back. Then I caught a better look and it’s just this turtle. Don’t scare me like that! I left the turtle be because it’ll find its way back to the woods where the river is. The turtle is perfectly safe in the back yard if it was the front do the house I have picked it up and brought some where a little safer.

I don't know how old it is. It looks cute. Although it looks a little ugly, the tortoise is definitely an animal that doesn't threaten us

It’s not a tortoise it’s a turtle there is a difference between the two. As for age I don’t think I asked if anyone knew how old he or she is. It really doesn’t matter since it’s not a pet. This is actually consider pretty because it has orange on the shell. We have a lot of sliders and snapping turtles which are a green black color.
