Good day to you all,
The weather here is a little better today, still to warm for me liking but better than the last two days. It’s 90F right now and they say it feels like 91F so that is better than the last todays and should drop the next few days till Monday when it heats up again.
At work they put up this stuff on the board in the break room about junetenth or something and about pride month. I’m very confused why they put them up late I mean it is June 16th already. I heard some people talking and said we could put stickers on our lockers to show our pride, so I went out to my car and got an American flag sticker and put it on my locker. Two girls there said I missed the point and I said, “I don’t think I did, I am showing my pride in being American.” They just walked away, I guess they are not proud to be American.

I feel we can show our pride in our own way. We don't need to wave a rainbow flag. I may not like the s-whole this country's become, but I am still proud to be one of its people.

@Bensen32 It breaks my heart that many of our elected leaders won because they spent more money and made false promises they couldn't possibly follow through on. But, I still take great pride in what our country was founded on, and don't take for granted the freedoms I am being offered.

I guess some people are ashamed of our nation. As an immigrant of Panama I love this nation. Some people are saying that anyone who is having Pride month and disagrees with anyone who disagrees with their viewpoint is just wanting some attention of being different from our traditions that made our nation great.
