It is cold this evening

It is 5 pm on June 18 here at the Jersey Shore and it is only 68 degrees F. It is very breezy out there and my wind chimes have been singing all day. I have the windows open now but I will have to close them overnight. It is actually supposed to stay in the mid-70s during the day for the whole week.
I keep reading headlines about a massive heat wave but it doesn't seem to be headed to this part of the country. I'm fine with that but I'd like to see the temps in the 80s this week instead of low to mid 70s.

I'm jealous. I've been getting temps in the 90's with the heat index in the low 100's.

Our heat wave will return on Tuesday with temps in the 90s. That's why we'd like to go out on Monday and get some errands run. Stay cool!
