Many years ago fried chicken skin become so popular along public markets as street food. It is dip in vinegar dip with onions. I like it ever since but I they say it is not healthy. There is really no chicken meat just the skin. It is crispy and so yummy. Then there comes a vendor near our mall here. I ask them one time what it is as they say it's not skin but proben and I can't understand them as if they are saying a name of a drug. So I search online for proben and there I find out that it is not chicken skin but proventriculus or chicken stomach. It's crispy like chicken skin but they are more chewy and taste like intestines to me as I eat chicken intestines too before. I learn to like it and it's okay if there is no chicken skin available Have you tried proben?

I can tell it's tasty because it's deep fried. However, I believe that eating internal organs is already unhealthy for me. I just hope you don't have any medical conditions that will prevent you from taking it.

I love chicken hearts and livers. But just have them occasionally. I'm concerned about the high cholesterol content.
