Do you put sugar in your tea?

Today I am not feeling very well, I feel my stomach upset, it seems that it takes ages to digest food.
I went with my kids to their swimming lessons and while I am waiting I asked for a melisa/lemon tea at the coffee. I know the owner and I told her that I am not feeling well, she said I should drink tea with sugar. I never put sugar in my tea but as I haven't eaten almost nothing all day, I decided to put just an half packet.
Do you put sugar in your tea?

I am so sorry you are not feeling well Manuela, I pray for you to feel better soon.
I do love tea but I am afraid I can no longer have sugar only on a rare occassion.
Remember maybe a bit of ginger may help your stomach.

@RebeccasFarm it is like my mom. My mom is now taking a natural supplement and it is helping her a lot with the symptoms. She is taking quercetin.

Sorry you are sick, I don't put sugar in it, but I do like milk in it if it is a black tea. I also sometimes put honey in it.

@snowy22315 I always thought it is odd but a lot of people like tea with milk.

I don't put sugar in my tea or coffee. If I'm having lemon tea, I may put half packet.

@Beestring I don't like milk, it takes hours for my stomach to digest it.

I like tea with sugar. I don't enjoy tea a lot especially with no sugar. Hope you soon feel better

I guess it always depends on each one preferences.
Thank you, I am better today.

I hope you feel better quickly.
Mom never put sugar in her tea and when I was a kid, I'd drink her tea. When I make my own tea, I put sugar in it. (Lemon is always good and so is peach tea.)
If you still don't feel good, you might try a cup of mint tea. It always helps an upset stomach.

It's funny but yes I do put sugar and milk in my tea whereas I drink my coffee black (no milk or sugar)
I hope you feel better. When my stomach is upset I drink peppermint tea

I think I will go to the doctor, I don't know why I am feeling this way. Even though today I am better, thank you.

Ginger or peppermint tea is good for an upset stomach. I used to put sweeteners in tea, but now I just use honey if I want the tea sweeter. Hope you feel better soon!
