Do you put sugar in your tea?

Today I am not feeling very well, I feel my stomach upset, it seems that it takes ages to digest food. I went with my kids to their swimming lessons and while I am waiting I asked for a melisa/lemon tea at the coffee. I know the owner and I told her that I am not feeling well, she said I should drink tea with sugar. I never put sugar in my tea but as I haven't eaten almost nothing all day, I decided to put just an half packet. Do you put sugar in your tea? Picture of my tea.

I am so sorry you are not feeling well Manuela, I pray for you to feel better soon. I do love tea but I am afraid I can no longer have sugar only on a rare occassion. Remember maybe a bit of ginger may help your stomach.

Why can't you have sugar? I haven't thought about ginger, it could be good. Thank you.

@RebeccasFarm it is like my mom. My mom is now taking a natural supplement and it is helping her a lot with the symptoms. She is taking quercetin.

Sorry you are sick, I don't put sugar in it, but I do like milk in it if it is a black tea. I also sometimes put honey in it.

@nela13 Almost everyone that I meet doesn't have sugar anymore. It seems nearly as bad to have sugar as it is to smoke.

I hope you feel better quickly. Mom never put sugar in her tea and when I was a kid, I'd drink her tea. When I make my own tea, I put sugar in it. (Lemon is always good and so is peach tea.) If you still don't feel good, you might try a cup of mint tea. It always helps an upset stomach.
