So since I am bored and am almost a bum. I decided to be productive today and went for a long walk. I also decided to have a look at my new work place. I know I have not got my visa yet but this at least gives me something to look forward to. I am happy it is only 15 minutes walk from where I live.

I thought you were living and working in Guernsey? Has that changed recently?

It's great that you may tour the area while you wait for your work visa. I believe it is better if you pay a visit to your workplace and begin to get to know your coworkers. That appears to be a wonderful change from your normal routine before you start working for your new job.

I use to work 5 minutes away from my house. The hospital is literally outside. It's a requirement for me as I cannot drive.

Well I am from the Philippines and I need work visa to work in UK. I just transferred back from Guernsey and we must do this every change of employer.
