Being online is more tiring than a full day's hard work

I just spent several hours trying to find a shower base for a walk in shower. Checked every Lowes Home Improvement in two states and was on hold forever several different times.
I was also on hold for a few Home Depots trying to find out why the apparently same item had one different number in their model number than the one at Lowes. One number.
If it had been a store locally, I might could have found out the answer, but this store is about 100 miles away. I finally got an answer in a chat box. Bless that woman whether she was a live person or not.
I'm sure you're not interested, but the dimensions and everything else were the same, but Lowes was 34" wide by 60" long and the one at Home Depot was 60" wide by 34" long. Who knew.
I guess we'll have to order it from Lowes and hope to get it eventually one day.
I know many of you have more horrendous customer services tales than mine, but I'm exhausted!

@1creekgirl Wven if I can return without fees, I have to repackage, ask for a return code, bring to the post office... it is annoying.

I'll tell you I am working at all kinds of ideas and projects just to post online so I can make some extra bucks and even though I am sitting in a chair the whole time I feel exhausted by the time I finish at night and turn off my PC I am glad I do not have to talk to anyone except for my kittens,

I know how that can go. I didn't need something like that, but I am searching for replacement wheelchair casters, and having a hell of a time matching them.

That would be nice a walk in shower.
Day was strange is all I will say for now.

I hope you get your shower base without any further problems. I really enjoy searching for items online. I always like the challenge. My day was very quiet.

I like searching at times for things, but this search included so many phone calls on hold and transfers to different departments.

Is it the bottom floor so to speak of the walk in shower? My mouth drools whenever they post pics of the bathroom shower designs they put in from Westworld homes or whatever that is. They don't have very good reviews online though.
