I need to make breakfast first of all. I have some pancake batter and that will start me off well, once I finish this first cup of coffee.
I have some major housework I have postponed, that I should get out of the way first thing.
At 10 a.m. Bitty will see the vet.
Then I am off to Wichita.
I have to see the registration office at the hospital to let them know the VA is covering this admission and stay, then of course to visit with Bob.
He had a needle biopsy on his infection yesterday. They are culturing it to determine the best IV antibiotic to give him, once we know that we should be able to get him set up closer to home.
I am not sure if that will be today or not, we can only hope.
For us, it feels like a long, long time.

I love pancakes! I hope all goes well with Bob and that he will be able to come home soon. Also hope that Bitty's appointment goes well.

Bitty is only about a kg. in weight and she is anemic. The vet gave her her first baby shots and a flea treatment that will help her be healthier and start gaining weight.

Once they know what to order, it will be quick. We think he will just visit the local clinic twice a day for meds. We shall see. The kitties are missing him.

Once the fleas have quit making her sick she will get tested for feline leukemia and possibly other illnesses. They just used kitten needles for her and kitten strength flea medicine.

Since he was not being released today, we found out, I chose to take care of getting more cats to the vet.

Yes, you are right about that. Bob does not have horrible symptoms, but has been in pain for quite a while and very fatigued.

@BarBaraPrz I had a couple of days like that, but no strawberries. I harvested yarrow flowers to dry though. I am keeping up with the indoor plants.

@GardenGerty 32°C/89°F at 3:57 pm and I haven't done a thing other than pick a few remaining strawberries and water the indoor plants. It did rain but did little to cool things off.
