There is no reason to be sad but I am not going to jump for joy.

I have been paying off bills and I have closed about three of those accounts. I can't sit here and expect to do all I want with what little I actually have. I tried not to save much in hopes to pay off bills faster. it looks like this year and I mean the year. My savings will just about reach $500. I was hoping for $800 but it is only possible if I buckle down from now. I am still paying extra on a few bills so that takes away that option. I am getting back this amount in Oct and I believe I am picking up my deep freezer after that. The amount not used will be what I start the next savings year off with. I am kind of sad that I did not save for Kay this year. I don't plan to save for her any other year either. I can't shorten myself in anyway from here forward.

Regarding Kay you have to do what you have to do. There is a time to just kick the chick out of the nest you know and let it fend for itself. Keep on with getting those bills done. Saving is much easier when you don't have to worry about debt, and of course the cost of the debt is greater than any amount you will save.
