I went to the bank--thankfully it wasn't quite as hot as it was yesterday. When I came out of the bank I could see across the street and saw something I hadn't seen in a while over there, so I crossed the street an took a detour (which is for another post). After my detour, I went to the shopping center closer to my apartment and stopped at Staples to see if I could find a box to better fit something I had planned to try to sell on eBay. When I saw that there were no boxes that would likely fit the item (the one I got previously was a bit too big) I bought some bubble wrap to fill the space in the box. After that I stopped at the pet store, hoping to say hello to some doggies, but instead I saw a bunch of boards covering the windows around the open door. When I went in I was told (jokingly) that someone in a Prius mistakenly thought they had drive through service. . Thankfully no one was hurt. When I went around to pass Safeway, someone did have a doggie with them, and I got to say hello. Finally, I got to drag all my bubble wrap home. In a bit I'll post about my detour--I have to put in some laundry.
