Should I or shouldn't I?

I am snuggled under the bed covers watching TV, having coffee and myLotting. It is cold and rainy here and the house is chilly.
In between rain showers, I did get dressed and pull some weeds from the edge of the garden. Too wet to step into the garden. Then I ran inside and jumped back into bed
Getting out of the bed would mean turning on some heat. Maybe, I'll get up and bake something. A good day to use the oven.

It's summer! Where did that cold weather come from? Can you please send some of it to Florida? We have been under extreme heat advisories over the past week, with very little relief in sight.

@paigea I enjoy when it rains here in Florida, because it temporarily cools things off. Sometimes considerably. The downside is our storms are quick and powerful, but then the sun's back out again. Which means the humidity then kicks in and it ends up being more miserable than before the rains came. It's a double-edged sword for sure.

@moffittjc I experienced that in Ontario. It was a shock to me to feel so blah after the rain.
After several days of rain. Some days showers, a few good storms, our humidity is 50%. Quite comfortable.

Cool or in your case cold days are always a good time too use the oven. Will it be enough to hear up your whole house or just a room or two?

@paigea I never realized you lived in a cooler part of Canada before this.

@MarshaMusselman We don’t get the heat Ontario and Manitoba get. It’s drier here and it generally cools off at night.

Eating hot is suitable in chilling temperature. What usually do you eat?

It will be close to 90 F today, so no oven usage for me. I am planning to buy a rotisserie chicken.

@paigea Yeah. I hear thunder, which may or may not mean rain. But, still.

@kaylachan More often than not, it passes us by. So, this rain is very welcome.

Yes, I like to bake on cooler days. We are not really having any right now.

I would like a cold rainy day. Just good rain to save electricity.
