Cut my index finger

Yesterday, I was helping hubby’s grandma take stuff out of the fridge and put it in a cooler. There were a lot of things to pack in there. I was trying to stuff a glass bottle into the top of the cooler next to the plastic carton of eggs. I finally got it in there but when I took out my right hand I noticed blood on my index finger. There was a cut on the bottom right side of it where the nail is. I must have cut it against the plastic egg carton. A first for me and I didn’t even feel it. His grandma dabbed something on my cut and put a bandage over it. I have to take the bandage off today to see what’s going on and put a new one on. There are a lot of dishes to wash. I think I will have to put latex gloves on so I don’t wet the cut. May have to do that if I shower and wash my hair as well. Ah! I hate getting cuts.

Cut in that type is unnoticeable. You couldn't hardly feel the pain.

Yeesh. Be CAREFUL over there. Although the next time you decide to cut your finger, cut the middle one. This would have made this post much more of a hoot as you would have showed us your cut while at the same time flipping us all off. lol

Lol. That would have been super funny. Why didn't I think of that while trying to stuff a glass bottle into the cooler?

I hope it heals soon. I hate cuts too. Vaseline makes it heal better and quicker.

I just took a photo of my finger. I just put a glove on that hand when I was washing dishes. Yep, we went there. She was very appreciative and kept apologizing for inconveniencing us.

@lovebuglena Usually you feel nothing while you cut your finger, a burn sensation later.

His grandma decided to put iodine on the cut to stop the bleeding. I was freaking out lol before she even did it. I thought it would sting. It did no such thing.

@lovebuglena Iodine will sting on an open cut. You were lucky.

There are waterproof band-aids that can be pasted on the cut on the finger and then you can wash dishes.

I don't think mine are waterproof. The one I had on certainly wasn't. The latex glove did the trick.

A cut right there can be quite painful. I hope it heals quickly.
