Filling my suitcase. / myLot

This weekend I am going to Dixie´s. And the first thing I placed in my suitcase was the warmer I bought yesterday. I have used it already not only to warm my knees as the therapist said, but I placed it under my waist to watch TV and mylot. I have read the news online too. The piece of news that have shocked me most since the war in Ukrania is the law against abortion in the US. I don´t understand how is it that it is so difficult to control weapons aducing freedom and so many people are against the right of women to decide about their own body. Sometimes I feel that every day I am also filling a suitcase of thoughts. The world is difficult to understand.

I don’t understand it either. We shouldn’t have any laws concerning our own bodies. It should be our decision only.

@RubyHawk Rapists and Child abusers don´t change. They don´t change with a few years in jail. They should be given life sentences.

Have fun at Dixie's. I am pro life but don't like the idea of women using back alley methods to get an abortion. It's too dangerous.

I wish you a very enjoyable time at Dixie's and enjoy the weekend, This world has become unrecognizable and I also cannot understand anything that is going on in this world anymore,

Enjoy your visit with Dixie. I have family in Ukraine and pray for them daily. Regarding abortion policy in the United States, it belongs to the states and has never been a Constitutional right. So, our Supreme Court passed the policy back to where it belonged - the states. Now, if a pubescent girl or woman needs or wants an abortion and cannot get one where she lives, she will have to go to a state where one is allowed. And in this day and age, the ability to do so is much easier than it was before the National Interstate and Defense Highways Act of 1956. Since that act took effect and these interstates, intrastates, and highways were built, we Americans can get anywhere we want to go with ease.

I wonder if abused children who get pregnant can just go to an other state. Specially if the raped girl or woman is poor.

@marguicha Yes, if she is too young to drive, someone can get her to where she needs to be.
