Saturday Breakfast

I guess it could also be considered lunch? Who knows. lol I made a nice pasta/macaroni salad last night and cut up a cantelope. Of course, as you are cutting up fruit, you have to taste it. So I did and ended up eating about 5 chunks. I tasted the salad as well, about a tablespoon, but didn't end up eating dinner. I have been up since about 8:00 am, and have been watching these shows about flipping homes, and now tiny homes and drinking coffee. Around 11:00, I decided to make something to eat. I sauteed some spinach with a clove of minced garlic, a dash of salt and pepper and one egg. I toasted 1/2 of a plain bagel and plated it with another 5 chunks of cantelope. I believe today is going to be a day of staying indoors to avoid our hottest day yet. We are sitting at 102 degrees with the heat index right now and it's only 11:39 am! Our peak hour is from 2 to 5 pm.

We still have a relatively comfortable temp, it's 83degreeF in Michigan. Your breakfast sounds really good, I love plain bagels!

My wife and I eat our breakfast in one of our eateries hangout near the Market. After eating we proceed to the flea market since it's Saturday, our market day.

What is cantelope? It's not that hot here and I had the Afghani chicken, rice, dal and raita for lunch.

I am sitting here in 90 degree weather my air is off and I am not yet sweating. I know the air has to go on when I go in craft room.

Most of the time, when we do pasta/macaroni, we've eaten that in a breakfast or dinner but not on a lunch. Just sharing.
