My personal opinion. We all have one

I personally am glad that Roe v Wade was overturned in the United States. Pro abortion people seem to want everyone to believe that now there will be no more legal abortions in this country. I wish that were true. But it will be up to each state to have its own legislation and there are many more states that will just continue as they are and a few that will limit abortions. I understand working for what you believe is right. But even if a woman can legally abort a baby, why should she fight against a woman who wants her baby to live? Bombing pregnancy centers is as bad as bombing an abortion center. Too much hypocrisy at each extreme. All I know is that the Bible says God knew us before he created us in the womb. And I believe he will hold us accountable for each life we've taken.

I'm not going to go out bombing anything, but I still think what a woman does with her body is her business. Everybody else should have the same choice.

@1creekgirl Only if the woman wants to put up with having a baby. Not all do or should have babies.

I agree that what a woman does with her body is her business. Until it's not about her body, it's about the life inside her who also has a right to live.

@DaddyEvil I agree, not every woman should get pregnant. But once she does, it's now about another life also.

You said: "But even if a woman can legally abort a baby, why should she fight against a woman who wants her baby to live?" who is fighting against women who want their own personal babies to live? Pro-choice aren't trying to force pro-life pregnant women to terminate their pregnancies. If you want a baby, have one. If you don't want a baby, then don't have one. If you need an abortion, then get one. If you don't want an abortion, then don't get one. It seems pretty simple to me.

There have been numerous attacks on pregnancy crisis centers.

@NJChicaa I doubt that's true, but even if it is, does that make it okay to fire bomb the center?

@1creekgirl I'm no expert but my understanding is that pregnancy crisis centers are known for spreading misinformation and for trying to convince women who want to terminate to continue a pregnancy.

I had the impression that reversing Row VS Wade would force women to endure a pregnancy even if she didn't want to, it's the fact that the government is putting personal issues into law that bothers me. The whole pregnancy/abortion thing is a personal religious issue and shouldn't be part of our laws that stipulate that all US citizens have religious freedom. Terrorizing anyone for either being pro or against pregnancy is a crime that should be treated as any other terrorist situation would be. I hope all those who have pulled a terrorist act against clinics will be duly punished as a terrorist should be.

@1creekgirl And there’s no compromise position - either you have an abortion or you don’t. I’ve had people say to me that people should abort if they are told their baby has Down’s syndrome - my 21 year old has Down’s syndrome and if anyone doesn’t want theirs just give them to me. The same people of course are vehemently again discrimination on the basis of disability!! So much hypocrisy mixed up in the pro abortion arguments. Here you will shortly be able to abort a baby up to just before labour if it has, for example, Down’s syndrome.

It's a crazy world. I know your daughter is a blessing to your family. I don't understand why some pro abortion people don't want any woman to change her mind and have the baby. And if killing a baby a week after it's born is murder, why is it okay to kill it an hour or a day after it's born? Or a moment after it's conceived in my opinion.

The funny thing is that it returns the question to the PEOPLE. You would THINK that the ones in favor of abortion would be all over the decision returning to THEM. Even if the outcome would be different in some states, the voice of the PEOPLE would be the thing that matters. But of course the liberals don't want anyone else to have an opinion. They just want THEIR law to be THE law, everyone else's wishes be damned.

I would hate to be judge and jury on the subject of women who choose to abort. I feel It is definitely wrong for those who use it as a birth control method. Then l think of the young girl who has been raped by her father resulting in her becoming pregnant, the trauma experienced by the victim of a gang rape, resulting in pregnancy, the blind and physically disabled girls and women who are victims of rape - resulting in pregnancy. This world can be a terrible place for some.

I'll just say I agree with the points you're trying to make. We live in a "Me" society not a "We" society these days if you get my meaning. My body my choice is a good example of that view. At a certain stage of development doesn't a baby also have rights to be born or not. Murder is not the answer to a situation you and your partner put yourself into. But those who want an easy way out of this predicament of their own making make this selfish decision. The Supreme Court is supposed to base their decisions on the constitution. There is nothing in the constitution about abortion, so they rightly got rid of an improper precedent (law) and returned that decision to the states (people). If one is against abortion, then as a democracy you have the right to elect representatives who share your viewpoint or move to a state that does. Sadly, there are some "stupid" people in this world who make 'stupid" decisions which may affect the lives of others. But does being stupid give you the right to neglect one's responsibilities? And take the life of an innocent baby? Interestingly and sadly, the Nazis promoted abortion of babies who would be born with a disability and exterminated those who did not fit the German mold. So, for those who argue in favor of aborting babies who will have the wrong skin color or may be born with defects, in other words "not fitting their perfect image," I say that seems like short-sided and again selfish thinking. This is a high emotional topic and when you have issues like that some think with their heart not their brain. Logic is thrown out the window and is replaced with one's feelings not facts as you point out. The Roe vs Wade decision of 1973 was always unconstitutional as it was never part of our founding father's government. The Supreme Court is not supposed to make laws and that is what happened in this case. Overturning it was a commonsense decision which pro-abortion advocates cannot and will never understand.

Honestly speaking. I'm against abortion. First of all, during the time you've enjoyed yourself in one bed, the next thing happened was you've found out, there's a baby in your tummy. And now, abortion comes next. In which that baby in the tummy has no idea why he's/she's there been loved before and now been forgotten.

I am so happy also. I really was surprised with this verdict, which was 5 to 4. The justice who had his house bombarded by protesters apparently changed his mind and that backfired on the protesters. I saw this on a news report, so I'm not sure if it's true or not. I do know this is great victory for the human race.
