Twitter is messing with period tracking apps and I love it

When that leaked Roe v Wade draft was released all sorts of warnings started circulating for women--delete your period tracking app, don't use store loyalty cards to buy tampons or pregnancy tests, etc. I didn't delete my app because I live in a blue state and abortion will remain available to women who need/want it. Much like TikTok-ers messed with some of Trump's MAGA hate rallies by reserving tickets and not showing up, Twitter is now on the scene with the Roe v Wade decision. Men, post-menopausal women, women of child-bearing age who have had hysterectomies, etc. are signing up to these apps just to flood them with fake data. One person said they were using it to track the fertility of their cow. Another said they were going to track their bowel movements. I LOVE IT! The idea is to just flood those apps with so much fake data that states who try to use it will have to waste so much time, money, and resources to figure out what is actually real. Freaking awesome! My own period data is so nuts due to perimenopause and I live in a blue state so I'm not deleting it or altering it. I'm not going to make a fake account. Straight up props to those who do and flood that information with garbage.
