Another spam call

So, sitting here, watching Tasting History with Max Miller (well worth watching BTW.) I get a call, id says "Spam Risk." I answer it: What! She says: Hello I say again: What (less loudly.) "Are you interested in selling your house?" "No!" I'll tell you that I actually said that in the middle of her asking. "What?" since she obviously wasn't listening to me. "Where would I live?" "What?" "Where would I live if I sold my house?" "Okay, thank you." I mean... where would I live? Me, my 7 cats, 2 dogs and a roommate...

I told one realtor that I'd sell my house on the twelfth of never.

The spammers call my parents all day long. It comes up on the t.v. and says spam call. It is ridiculous. Do people still actually buy things from people who call them? I was wondering because it just seems to have gotten worse.

Yeah, earlier I got a scammer call claiming he was from my television service - I told him he was not. At the end he said he was cutting off my service... yeah, he couldn't do it - obviously, I'm still here...

I love your answer to her question. These calls are from rental companies trying to buy up loads of homes to rent out at ridiculously high rates while at the same time driving honest home buyers out of the market.

Which is why I have no worries about being rude to them - like that a-hole that called and said he was from my "television service." Yeah - not - first, the service is in the roommate's name and she BLOODLY WELL WORKS FOR THE COMPANY!
