Oh the comedy............

@rebelann We get lizards (I found the cutest little guy living amongst my potted stuff under the cherry tree - his body is about an inch, plus his inch tail). All kinds of birds. Squirrels. Opossums lurk around at night but we rarely see them - same with raccoons where the sighting is even rarer. The coyotes do lurk but I haven't seen them (other neighbors have seen 'em). We're in the burbs so there's not much wildlife in this immediate area.

It's rural here and like you I have not seen coyotes, opossums, raccoons, skunks or mule deer but I've been told they're around here somewhere. I do have a resident ground squirrel though, he's been getting into car engines around here which could prove expensive if he's chewing on the wiring. I hope your area isn't getting anymore fires, it's time CA caught a break from all those wildfires you got the last few years.

Ahhhh, I didn't think of that. It puts a new spin on pole dancin I only want to live close enough to get a glimpse of them now and then, around here all I get are lizards and a few species of birds. Isn't that about the same where you are? Do you get lizards?

Yeah, that kitty was very well entertained by that pole dancer.

I'll bet he did. I wonder if he ever got that bird feeder to open.

@rebelann He was a determined little chap. He would have been working up a real appetite with so much exercise.

@rebelann my Ringo lets me know when it is time to clean the litter box, He goes and then spends time in the box wiping his paws on the sides and then I know he thinks the box is not too clean, It will happen tonight

I've heard of them doing that. Wouldn't it be better to feed your dogs indoors?

@rebelann Actually the one used to come on the deck and eat my dog's food.

I love seeing wildlife but when it comes to predators I would want to be in the safety of my home when I see them.

Believe me, they are much more afraid of you than you of them. I have never heard the beautiful song of the wolf.

I think the problem is that many of them are too big and cause trouble for the site admin.
