How often do you visit the beauty palour?

It's very normal now to visit the beauty Palouse often but I don't. I still follow the beauty tips my grannies had given be for my face, skin and hair. Of course when my hair was very long I used to visit the beauty palour sometimes to trim my hair and give it a U shape at the end which I like. I am of course lazy to prepare the granny's face scrub these days and so get one from the store. I include face yoga in my regular yoga exercises to keep my skin tight and face lifted. So how often do you visit the beauty palour?

My wife rarely visits the beauty parlor. Most of the ladies prefer to go there.

@aninditasen yes I have seen these days men are also beauty conscious and they also get pedicures and manicures and many other things which women also do.

@sjvg1976 Those who can't take care of their skin, face and body due to lack of time need to go to beauty palour for revival. My son goes for oil message.

I have visited one other than to have my hair cut. I have skin allergies and do not trust any of the commercial products.

@rebelann In India too much of soap makes the skin rough.

When I think of a “beauty parlor,” I think of what my mom went to where she’d get her hair washed and set, then she’d sit under a dryer and then they’d do something to her hair. I’ve never been to that form of a “beauty parlor.” I get my hair cut every 2-3 months, and that’s it.

@aninditasen — I’ve never had a facial. Skin care is usually moisturizer in the winter.

I used to go more often when my hair needed cutting or a trim but since 2020 and pandemic/lockdown I haven't been there at all. I'm still a bit leery of being around a lot of people in a small space

I remember my wife visited the parlor of your fellow member of our Church long time ago. She's not used to have herself beautify in the parlor. She did it by herself for too expensive to be avail of their service.

That's what I have heard from most of my mylot friends. Going to beauty palours in India is not expensive yet I don't believe in their techniques and have much better ways.

I go there just for my hair cut. I have sensitive skin. I just use skin care products I picked.

I used to but my hair is no longer that long so I trim them myself to avoid split ends.
