This one was a busy day for me, friends.
Claudia came for one of those mother-daughter talks. It was wonderful. Really, mother-daughter talks only happen when daughters forget that mothers are their natural enemies. We should cherish those moments.
She also fixed the part of the garden that Luna uses to go to my garden. She dug until the fence looked like a medieval castle. I hope that Luna does not learn how to jump as horses do.
After Claudia left, I make a delicious frittata with all sorts of odds and ends from the fridge.
And I asked for groceries forgeting, of course, what was not on the list. But still, I have enough for 15 days at least and Luna has food for a month. Coralita (@thesojourner) I will start saving like you. I have discovered that none of my 2 daughters can return part of the money I lent them b efore I go to Aruba.
I am warm. I´m in bed and the house is not as cold as I have had a heater in the living room drying my clothes. Not elegant but who cares.
Tomorrow I will go to the health insurance to see about a health plan. Wish me luck.

I wasn´t expecting my daughters to return the money I lent them yet. But I had not thought about inviting my grandson to Aruba with all his expenses paid.

I´ll buy the tickets whe Tania comes to Santiago. She knows the best deals. And she can help me pay for the tickets in 3 or 6 months if need be.

Mine is not one that covers too much because I did not have money for a better one. But this one helps a lot when you are in the hospital. And that´s important.

@Nakitakona For me health insurance plus a payment I could do was very important when I had chemo. That is covered a lot here but in other countries they either have money or cannot do it.

I must admit that Health Insurance is something I know nothing about.
It's not a thing I have ever bought

I have been paying a small health insurance ever since I became a widow. My sister insisted and she paid for it. Thanks to it I could have chemotherapy when I had a lymphoma. Chemo left me older but alive and with no debts.

@JimBo452020 Many people here have health care for free. But they have to wait in line. My sister insisted that I get a better insurance if I had a bad ailment. It was paid for during the chemotherapy treatment.

We get treatment like that for free.
We pay into the National Health Service through paying contributions from wages etc and benefits.
Having no debt is good.
That's where we are.
