Lots of Laundry...

I took a load of laundry out that had evidently been left in the dryer, washed another load of laundry and now it is in the dryer.
Otherwise, I have been trying to write a letter to a pen pal, though the difficult part came when I tried to write about the day I had to put Angel down. 
I started crying again. Thankfully now I am on to another subject.
After I post this, I may do a bit of reading, I may continue my letter--maybe both.
It will be an hour or so before the pastor's wife calls and asks if I wan't a ride to church for Bible study tonight.

I usually take the laundry to the DailyWash not far from where I live. What I don't like there is that we have to queue up.

Fortunately I have a washer and dryer in my apartment. What does "queue up" mean ?

@xstitcher It means there are so many customers who want to use the machines. Those coming first will be served.

Taking the time to write a letter is a clear sign of consideration and respect for a person. Demonstrates intimacy and bonding. I still like that sort of thing even though I don't do it that often. Every end of the year I used to write myself a letter. I wrote about the most important events and the positives and negatives of things that happened throughout the year and what I planned for the next year. It was good to read these letters after a while.
