As you, my 226.4 Billion Loyal Dedicated Daily Readers, know, I was the most famous member of the Illegitimate Trump "Administration" you've never heard of (I'm also currently the most famous member of the Better Than The Alternative Sleepy Joe Administration you've never heard of but that one isn't the problem) and because of this, I've been spending more time than usual in Washington lately (The DC one, not the Seattle one). Talking to a very nosy Woke Liberal Mob, AKA Congress, because they want to know everything about the Trump job. It's annoying and painful, just like a chronic case of Poison Ivy that has been complicated by a severe sunburn that just happened to arrive as you're having the worst kidney stone of your life and it just won't go away. Some people say I did it to myself. People like my friend Sleepy Joe. It's a Liberal Lie. What isn't a Liberal Lie is this advice: Don't let it happen to you. If you ever stumble into a naturally occurring Time Warp and find yourself in 2016, don't agree to work for Donny Trump. No matter how much he begs you. Just keep singing, "Let's do the Time Warp again," until he goes away. Don't get me wrong. A little, or even a lot of safe consensual suffering is great, some would say necessary, as long as you and your partner(s) are into it. Just don't overdo the pain by working for Diaper Don. Make it one of your Hard Limits. It's OK for me because I'm able to draw on my years of experience and natural wit and charm to come up with concise-cutting arguments such as, "I like beer, Senator! Do you like beer?" But I'd still rather not have to deal with it. I've enclosed an article down below that explains at least part of why you enjoy inflicting and/or receiving pain so much. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rethink all my DC Side-Hustles. ************** THE WELL — JUNE 24, 2022 Why a meaningful life is impossible without suffering Pain makes sense from an evolutionary perspective. What's puzzling is why so many of us choose to seek out painful experiences.

It's not a video. Just an article. You have to wait two weeks for NetFlix to turn it into a movie. Kidney stones and sunburn are very bad.

@LadyDuck I wish Chrome would fix that problem.

I've read some Watts books. I enjoyed them. But...there's something more to be said.

You'd think that by now, everything would have been said already.

I will watch the video. Even if it makes me feel pain.
