I have just become one of those people who eat lots of meds.

I normally take a couple of meds, a lot less than many of the people I know including my daughters. But this doctor who lately saw me for my knees, gave me a lot of meds for pain relief. They apparently have worked as I am feeling better. And the meds don´t have any idea where they have to go because my back is hurting me less too. I hope this works. I promise that I will do the new exercises that the therapist will teach me. I need rehabilitation, but it is something that I have to do by myself too. Are you taking several meds?

Honestly speaking, I don't want taking lots of meds. I prefer eating veggies and control my appetite to control my health to avoid lots of meds.

@luisga814 There is no cure for arthrosis. But with exercises and some meds it helps you feel better.

Depending on what my BP reading is when I first wake up, I will take from 10 to 13 pills in the morning and 3 again in the evening unless my BP is high again and then I take 4 in the evening. I don't want to take all the pills, but the doctors want me to and I have to admit, I feel better when I take them.

@DaddyEvil I have had skin cancer 4 times. I just had a procedure for a small one in the cheek. What vitamins do you need? Vitamin D?

@marguicha Some of mine are vitamins my doctor wants me to take. I'm not supposed to be out in too much sun because I've had skin cancer so the doctors worry that I'll get it again. I also can't drink milk because I have allergic reactions to it, so take calcium tablets every day. Things like that.

I am 42 and I have 3 meds I take every night. Good thing you found something that works for you. Should I expect to be taking tons of meds in my 50s or 60s?

I take a handfull of pills every day (some are vitamins) but one is for my knees and arthritis. I've been taking it for awhile and it doesn't seem to be working as well as it did at first. I hope you continue to feel better. As someone who suffers from bad knees I can sympathize with the pain you feel.

Those meds are what my friends take. I don´t have diabetes, high blood pressure nor high cholesterol. I had forgotten the eye drops I put when I remember (artificial tears).

It depends. When I have flue and cough, I take several: one is to cure me of the flue, another for relieving cough and another again is to reduce fever that may accompany the flue.
