Strange Day

Today has been a quiet day. I worked here a lot and watched tv. My daughter slept most of the day so I finally got my grandson to bring me some cottage cheese and grapes for dinner. An hour later my daughter woke up and brought me another dinner. She ended up eating it.
It has been in the mid 80's so not too bad. I will open the windows soon and get a cool breeze.
Hope you all had a nice weekend. In reading many of you's posts I see that you did.

Quiet day is really good. but here we dont have quiet time at day.
If someone eat the food that supposed to be mine I would literally be emotional.

We started off cooler than you did and had nice showers last night and today. It still looks like it will rain some more. It's 75F outside right now but is supposed to head towards 100+ the rest of this week...
It's still extremely humid from all the rain or I'd open windows and doors and let the cool air come in. (I still might do that if it stops feeling like I'm trying to swim when I open the front door.)

@celticeagle That's how it was here yesterday and the meteorologists were giving us a 10% chance of rain. We started off with gentle sprinkles and then it became showers. It was very nice.

@celticeagle some people want fresh air to come in through the window but we prefer them to be closed at night.

The weekend here has been uneventful for the most part. Constant fireworks and noise, but that happens every 4th of July holiday, for days before and often days afterwards. It's nearly midnight and I still hear loud booms. It's getting kind of old...maybe we'll get lucky and tomorrow they will have run out of these loud booming ones, but probably not. It's going to be really hot here all this next week, I will hopefully get more done inside.
It did rain a tiny bit yesterday, but not today. We still need some rain really bad.

Same here. Hope it stays that way too. We haven't even had that many fireworks. The police are out and about so that is probably why.

Quiet day here too until 9:30 when all the fireworks started. Last night they stopped around 11.
