Muscogee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) Deputy Greg Countryman Junior answered an emergency call from a concerned parent who reported to the 911 operator that two small children were not breathing as they were inside of a swimming pool in late May even though the exact date was not mentioned. When Officer Countryman arrived at the home of the incident, he saw the homeowner whose gender was not reported try to use first aid techniques to revive both children whose names and genders were not released to the public, he took action by using his first aid skills to revive one of the two children while the homeowner worked on reviving the other child Thanks to the teamwork of both the officer and the homeowner, both children did wake up from their near death experience and taken to a local hospital where they were treated for their injuries and released after they were given a clean bill of health by their doctors. If there were more police officers like Officer Countryman on the police force, we would have a wonderful world to live in.

How could it happen that they fell into the swimming pool in the first place when a parent was present? Swimming pools which aren't used (in May!) must be covered. I think the parent should pay a fine for negligence.

I am sure that the parents was distracted for a few moments when the children ran away from him or her.

Children should be watched when they are near a swimming pool. Glad to know that the officer saved the life of the kids.

The children should have been watched over and they should not have been in the pool alone Another case of bad parenting and it could have ended tragically.

You are right since parents need to keep a sharp lookout for their children inside of the swimming pool area.
