I hope that those of you who celebrate had a good 4th of July weekend. At least all the fireworks should be done for now. Today I may finally get out and swap out my cell phone. There are thunderstorms in the area right now; but hopefully they will clear out by this afternoon. What's your weather like?
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Kentucky Fried Chicken, biscuits, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and corn
Dessert/Snack - Pumpkin pie and Cool Whip
Dinner - Blueberry yogurt

We have excessive heat warnings here from now until Friday with a heat index of 110F. (We're supposed to have a high of 95F today but it's noon and we're at 96F so far.) Bright and sunny outside.
I ate a bowl of watermelon for breakfast, a potato bread and cheese sandwich for lunch and ate some green grapes for supper.

@LindaOHio We topped out at 98F this afternoon with high humidity.
I stuck my head out the door and closed the door quickly.

That's way too warm. It was around 90 today with high humidity. Stayed inside with the AC.

Fireworks done? Are you insane? It was a warzone outside my house.
As for dinner I made a chicken in the crockpot. But we were busy all day so by the time I got to wanting to make sides it was just getting too late so we went to KFC to get cole slaw and mashed potatoes to have with it. lol
My chicken wasn't KFC like your lunch...but uncanny we were there on the same day. lol
