Feeding In The Rain

And it made me happy. We were needing it. It wasnt a hard rain by the time I went outside this morning. The sky is starting to clear now. The day is supposed to warm back up. Marion county fair started yesterday. The weather is usually full of rain and or very hot humid weather for it. Often times both. It looks like both this year. But I am sure my garden is happy right now.
Had bad bad bad raccoons last night. I will share the video. You can see the 2 smaller ones go in one trap and back out. But they never went far enough back to step on the spring plate that would shut the door. I did get the bigger one in the other trap. Maybe the young ones will stay away now.
Seen the deer nosing at the edge of my garden on that camera. I know some of my hot pepper plants had died. Hopefully it dont keep doing that. But if it does I will start putting shepherds hooks in there with things hanging off of them. That should help as it isnt used to things being in there.

@Marilynda1225 I hate to go out too late to water if it does not rain. I am sure it's going to work. More rain is needed.

It's a sunny start here today but possible rain or thunderstoms as the day goes on.
Hope all those baby raccoons wander off and don't come back

@LadyDuck it's sunny here right now but possible rain and or thunderstorms later on. Hoping for just rain as we had enough noise last night with all the fireworks that we don't need thunder today

The birds here are not too much trouble with most plants. If I was trying for very nice flowers I would get mad too.

Seems like a hot time of year for a fair. In Texas we have ours in October or everyone would probably die.

It is. But not any worse than when I was a kid. They had it in August then. This isnt the smartest run county

We have some rain showing on the radar. It was 93 at 10:30 AM, so I’m thinking about driving under one of those showers and hoping it hasn’t rained itself out by the time I get there.
