A Question to Think About

There was a question on Facebook today that I actually stopped to think about.
Should a guy be forced to marry a woman that he impregnates?
Now before you jump to an answer, think about it for a minute.
I'll even admit that I jumped at my answer at first and said no it shouldn't be forced.
Then I took a second.
The overturning of Roe vs Wade has taken away a woman's choice. It doesn't really matter where you stand on abortion because it's past that. It's taken away our right to make the right choice for ourselves.
Now also, I'm not debating that on this post. It's like a side point.
With that being said, if a woman's right to choose has been taken away, then why shouldn't the guy's?
This is no joke y'all. It's a hard spot to be in, to make these choices.
But that's what they are, a choice.
What do you think though?
With the way things are now, is it fair that a guy would have to marry the woman he impregnates?
I say yes after a DNA test to verify. After that test I say shotgun wedding.

No still! Just because you sleep with someone doesn’t mean they want to be with you or have a baby with you. Several states had laws now that protect women and there choice to do what they want if they become pregnant regardless of how it happed.
Also a guy could sleep with several women a day and a half more of those women or all could become pregnant. It’s against the law to be married to more the 1 person at one time. So even if he did impregnated and marry that women the other wouldn’t be able to do the same. You to think deeper past the surface. Also what would the women feel having to marry someone over a baby that ain’t even here yet.

@JordanLader of course there is tones of layers as one person sees it another person will see it differently. Like a box or point of view it’ll never be the same as the person next to you.
I have several views. One being my own personal views, second would be what I’d this is my daughter would I want this for her? Third is seeing from a basic human views leaving our genes, age, feelings and such.

@ShyBear88 It's a lot to think about really. To think that one law or rule could help doesn't make sense. Like I don't think you could make this all encompassing rule and expect everyone to fall in line

That's a way to see it. That's why I liked this question when I saw it because it really makes you think. My first response was no because I mean that's wrong but then I thought about the way they're trying to control our rights with abortion and I thought about that.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are many layers and ways to look at it.

This is an untrue statement. Many states still allow abortion. The Supreme Court decision only turned over the ruling to each state.

They've been slowly posting which ones will allow it as well as the conditions. It's just not something that's been really out there. It's getting there though

@JordanLader Personally I'll be glad when all abortions are completely illegal, but too many people are trying to say they already are.

@1creekgirl I'm pro choice. I don't see where it's my business what another woman decides to do with her body. I don't like abortion however it is not my body, not my situation, not my choice.
That's just my opinion.

That's not a viable solution because if it's forced, he would find ways and means to end the marriage and escape responsibility.
