Today brought a present from the Pacific Northwest and our dear myLotter @TheSojourner . She sent me a mug, coaster, and keychain, all Navy themed. Thanks, dear! After lunch I walked to the grocery near the restaurant and got a few things. I picked up four huge russet potatoes, which will be nuked and enjoyed in further dinners. I also picked up some chipotle sauce to put on the potatoes. I’m not having a potato for dinner tonight — just turkey sandwiches — but I am trying out the sauce. It’s spicy!! I think it’ll go great on the potatoes. I’m watching the sun set over Clearwater Beach, Florida now from the Frenchy’s webcam, located right on the beach. There are quite a few people on the beach tonight, but it’s nothing like it was yesterday. It was packed. On my recent trip I discovered the memory foam “bed” in my car had Alzheimer’s so I ditched it. I got a cot. It fits perfectly in the back of the car. Additionally, there’s plenty of room under the cot for storage! It’s way too hot to camp anywhere that’s not air conditioned right now, but we’ll see what happens in September.
