Apps on my phone #1: Episode

Many of you know that a lot of my work and side hustles revolve around the two-hundred-dollar mobile device that I carry around in my back pocket. One of the sides hustles that I use to put a little extra Amazon spending money is various game apps that pay you x amount of coins/cents etc per x amount of minutes you play. I have found several games through these apps that I actually enjoy playing and still play. Everybody at one point or another has downloaded games to their phone/tablet. So I figured what the heck, I would share the games that I like and actually use with you. The first one of these is Episode. This isn't a new game, I actually played it a few years ago. But when it popped up on my suggestion, I figured I would give it another shot. The premise is easy. The game has several "stories" that you can play through. They choose your own adventure illustrated stories. They are primarily "love" stories, but there have been a couple of other genres. They are fairly short stories, thriteen to seventeen chapters on average. You play the main character, and choose how she/he reacts to certain situations. That determines how the story plays out. It's a good mindless game for me to play while we are waiting for doctors/in line somewhere or even when we are watching tv. I think I have played through about 7 or eight stories in the past couple of weeks. I am actually playing through one right now, while I do myLot, so it really doesn't take much thought. Sometimes I choose the crappy answers to see if I can really alter the story. This game was for sure geared to the pre-teen and teenage group. While it does have the Hallmark-y love story angle, that I usually hate. It is a guilty pleasure, just a mindless game that can give my brain a break from things in real life.
