It is a nicer day today

We have a nice breeze today and the temperature is about five degrees cooler. Both of those things mean a lot.
I crave sweet treats, and the home made ones are best. I made chocolate muffins with dried cherries already today.
Some dry cat food had spilled in the trunk of the car, and it smelled disgusting as the heat increased. This morning I took the shop vac out and vacuumed it out. I sprinkled some essential oils in the trunk.
Then since I had the vacuum out, I vacuumed the inside of the car. It looks much better.
I also cut hubby's hair.
There are many things I need to do. I messaged one of Bob's doctors an update and asked to reschedule appointments he missed.
I am glad to be getting things done.
It is not even lunch time yet, so I feel good about it all.

We got the breezes here, too, but we still had 102F today. Pretty went out around 9 am to mow the final third of the yard. She came back in mad because the battery of the mower gave out before she quite finished the yard. I told her to just leave that little bit for next time she mowed.

@GardenGerty No, we don't. I want to buy another gas powered mower. Pretty wants to buy another battery for the electric mower. Both cost about the same price. With two mowers, she could mow the front and I could mow the back. With an extra battery, the charge time is four hours so it would still take two days to mow our entire yard instead of just one day if we bought a gas mower.

There’s rain all around the city, so there’s a cooling wind blowing. It feels great!
