Cookery 101: Chicken Macaroni Soup

It has been raining the whole morning today. So I decided to cook 'chicken macaroni soup' for lunch. It is a perfect meal for a cold day. It takes a long time shredding the chicken meat though. But all the ingredients made it yummier to have. It is also my first time to do it. As I had mentioned before, I am not a good cook. What's cooking in your world today?

I cut up some watermelon for our supper today. It's delicious. Your soup sounds good.

@cacay1 I always get hungry at night. I'm awake all night and sleep during the day.

@Beestring Same thing here. I heard Peking Duck is difficult to cook there.

I love that simple soup, I wonder why Filipinos call it " sopas" when " sopa " is Spanish for soup Yes that is also one of our comfort food, easy to make, I like to sprinkle parmesan cheese on mine. We were busy today so we just ordered Korean style chicken wings and made lettuce, tomato and cucumber salad to make our meal healthier

I would love some Kimchi. Unfortunately, I did not make it lately. I guess it is a Filipino version of 'soup.'

Your soup sounds good, it is too hot to make soups here, I am going to serve salmon fillets for dinner.

@Shavkat I buy frozen fillets, very good quality, the cost is a lot lower than fresh salmon.

Not much. Thawing chili beans for tomorrow. Got frozen Zippy's Chili, on sale. Today, cut fruit bowl, so cool & juicy. Your soup perfect for rainy day! Looks yummy!

@Shavkat I ate it today, ... buying it from Zippy's drive in counter tastier. With a side of fresh garden vegetables, yum.

That soup looks so nice but Vince isn't fond of macaroni in soup so I guess I'll never taste it.

My late mother used to do this. I suddenly miss having it so I tried my best to cook it. Sometimes others use noodles in doing it.
