Ah. I have feeling in my nose and teeth again. I always have feeling for music in my soul, so let’s travel back 40 years to the musically diverse year of 1982 and see if you remember this hit. (Bet ya don’t!) Poison Arrow - ABC (Personal note to liner note readers: the David Palmer who co-wrote this song isn’t related to the David Palmer of Can’t Buy a Thrill fame.) This was the lowest-charting of British band ABC’s five top 40 hits in the US (the biggest was “When Smokey Sings”). And, as usually happens, in the “oldies” department the “big hit” gets more airplay than the others. I don’t know how popular this still is, but I know how popular it was 40 years ago. It’s still quite popular with me! [b[Poison Arrow[/b] Written by Martin Fry, Mark White, Stephen Singleton, David Palmer, and Mark Lickley Recorded by ABC From The Lexicon of Love, 1982 (Today’s 1972 song: “Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu”) Playing Cupid, Cupid:

I think you’ve filled your quote for the year, never mind the month!

Oh yes. This is a good one. Definitely like this one. I even play this one on my guitar from time to time. An oldie but goodie.

Excellent! I’ll bet that sounds completely different with an acoustic guitar accompaniment, like a country song (or acoustic punk, take your pick).

@FourWalls I have played it on both acoustic and electric. It's actually a fun song to play.
