Hello! Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters I woke up early 7am. I feel good now. The weather today is nice. Sunny and cool air. I made a heavy breakfast today as my husband requested. Turkey sausage with egg, toasted bread and cheese. I kind of miss this breakfast. I still have my hot choco cappuccino. It was great. Then, went out to have a morning walk. I didn`t have my dancing exercise today but did a lot of cleaning and work online. Anyways, my post is about the things I want to ask mylotters about canned goods. Do you buy ready to eat food? I am thinking to try some because I don`t know how it was cooked but love to eat it. As per my observation around here. I see a lot of people buys ready to eat food in can. I know that sometimes when we can`t think of something to prepare, we like a ready to eat food. I hope you can share it with me here Have a great day, Happy mylotting and See you around Photo: google

@m_audrey6788 Oh! Spanish sardines. I like the content but due to high prices because of inflation, I'm only contented with the sardines in tomato sauce.

@m_audrey6788 I buy canned food mainly because they can be stored for a long time. Just in case we have a storm and cannot go for groceries shopping.

I have some can food at home. In fact in the past I had this habit as I found can food was also delicious and it could save a lot of time to cook. After the pandemic, I found it much more important to keep can food at home in case there is a crazy lockdown.

It's practical to store some at home. It's true that there are just times where you do not feel like cooking so they are pretty handy during those times.

I always keep about 6 or 8 cans of soup in the pantry. They come in handy when we do not feel well, that is the only time we eat canned soup. In the winter months I usually keep a few cans of canned tomatoes and kidney beans in the pantry as I tend to use those in chili. But I do not make that unless it is wintertime.

I always look at the content like the chemical and nutritional value of the product before buying. Normal I prefer fresh served foods and products because the preservatives in some can products could be harmful to the body

I buy some foods in a can but prefer frozen or fresh. It really feels good to have something you can prepare with minimal effort. One thing with canned foods is that they are often high in salt.
