Very hot day today to remove weeds

A very hot day today. Not my kind of weather.
There are a lot of weeds/vines to get rid of in the back yard. I should go and deal with it as they are very long in spots too.
But the bright sun is shining straight onto the backyard. It’s gonna be exhausting and I will sweat buckets.
Maybe I will get hubby to help me. Or have him do the whole thing. He has more strength than me and takes the hot weather better than me.
Of course, I can always leave it for another time but then it may not get done for a while. Can’t leave the back yard like this. Some of the stuff is hanging above the air conditioner. That’s probably not a good thing.

I was good about it early spring, but then it got warm and things happened - had to let things be. Then I waited for a good chunk of cooler days to come and it never came. In our weather, the weeds actually die . . . but everything needs to be plucked out eventually.

The longer we wait the more we need to do.

@much2say those suckers never disappear. Even if you spray them with weed killer they still come back.

Our deck needs replacing. Some of the boards are sticking up. This deck is from the 90s. I wonder if it’s rotten or if it just looks that way. Well, it’s mom’s house so her deck. She will be dealing with that if she wants to.

@porwest Yeah. The deck was there in 98 when my parents originally bought the house.

@lovebuglena If those are the original boards from the 90s I am not sure I'd be comfortable walking on it. lol

@lovebuglena - I went out yesterday at 8 p.m. and it was so hot that I could do nothing. I worked a bit in the garden this morning at 6 a.m.

@LadyDuck
you’d think it’d be cooler by 8pm.

We ended up doing it yesterday. Hubby went to do them and I joined him.

Do things grow quickly there? Countries that get a lot of rain always look green and lush but I'm not sure how wet it gets there.

@lovebuglena I understand. That would be difficult to remove for sure.

@JudyEv there’s a way, which is to crawl underneath the deck but I won’t do that and neither will hubby.

Problem is a lot of stuff grows from underneath the deck. We can’t get in there to remove the stuff with the roots so it keeps on growing.

The longer you wait the more it will grow! See if you can get hubby out of the car and into the yard to help you!

He went to do it himself. But I went to help. Didn’t think it was fair for him to do the whole thing himself though he’s done that before.

@LindaOHio I have no idea. But it’s a long rectangular shape.

@lovebuglena That's good. How big of a yard do you have?

Hope you get it done. You can share the work with your husband. Maybe he can do the major part.
It's been raining here since the beginning of the month. Many plants in my garden are ruined
. And the weeds are flourishing. I have left it for a while.

He did most of the stuff behind the air conditioner and near it. And behind the deck. I did the rest.

@lovebuglena Good that you both pulled together and got it done
. The ones growing on AC could have caused some problem.
